Debbie was born in Woburn, Massachusetts and grew up in a duplex. It was the last house on the left of a dead end street. Remember that movie? Last House on the Left? Spooky.

After High School she had a brief stint at Travel and Tourism School. She would have gone longer but the course was only 4 months. When asked why Travel and Tourism School she says, “I’m not sure why I chose to study travel. I guess the set of luggage I got for my high school graduation gave me the idea.“

She soon got a sweet job at Hertz Rent a Car at Logan Airport. That’s where she became fast friends with someone who would convince her to move to New York City. By car.

Shortly after moving to New York she joined an improv group called The Grown Ups Playground. And yes, they did wear white t-shirts and black pants. “That experience catapulted me into stand-up”, she said.

Not only has Debbie performed at clubs and colleges like most comedians but also abroad in London, where she won a comedy contest. The prize? A paid spot the following night…25 pounds! Debbie came in first runner up in the Comedy Central Laugh Riots Competition 2000. In 2001 she was a semi finalist. She loves competitions. Most recently Debbie made her TV. debut on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. She performs stand-up at venues throughout the city.
